The Supernova circular band with plastic wishbones and closed Dyneema cord is designed for spearfishers seeking responsive propulsion, rapid energy release and particularly powerful shots. Its explosive dipped-latex rubber delivers strong shaft acceleration and high impact on the fish while maintaining reliable performance at depth.
Its circular configuration provides balanced traction around the speargun muzzle and is well suited to setups designed for immediate power and a flat shaft trajectory. This construction delivers a fast, forceful and consistent shot, even as pressure increases during the descent.
This version is fitted with two plastic wishbones connected by a Dyneema cord to form a closed wishbone system. This flexible setup reduces metal contact with the shaft, limits unwanted noise and helps protect shaft notches or shark fins during loading and firing. The Dyneema cord also provides excellent tensile strength and abrasion resistance.
The bindings and assembly are handmade in our workshop to ensure a clean, precise and reliable finish. The yellow outer coating combined with a red inner layer gives the band a distinctive appearance, while the UV-resistant treatment helps preserve the properties of the latex over time.
Available in 14 and 16 mm diameters, the Supernova circular band is sold individually and supplied ready for installation on a speargun.
