The ShockWave Ø16 mm circular band with open Dyneema wishbone provides a reliable, affordable and easy-to-maintain solution for fitting a speargun. Made from black extruded latex, it offers good elasticity, consistent power delivery and durability suited to regular use.
Its circular configuration uses one long band routed around the speargun muzzle. This setup provides balanced traction and offers a simple, versatile and effective installation.
This version features aluminium inserts combined with a Dyneema cord tied at both ends to form an open wishbone. The system allows the cord to be replaced easily when signs of wear appear: simply cut the existing Dyneema and install a new cord without replacing the complete band.
The aluminium inserts provide excellent mechanical strength, while the Dyneema cord reduces metal contact with the shaft, limits unwanted noise and helps protect shaft notches or shark fins during loading.
The bindings and assembly are handmade in our workshop to ensure a clean, precise and reliable finish. Thanks to their excellent value for money, ShockWave bands remain among Epsealon’s best-selling band ranges.
